De.scription and Message

Hi.

I update at the moment from 140 to 141.
I have the problem, that I can restrict using more than 1 picutre in the signature but I'm still able to include more than one. This problem I had with 140 too.

Can anyone help me with this?

Greetings
Thorten

try sig character length... the code for putting in the pic may be too long for the limit.

There are a couple of bugs associated with the signature. If there is no fix for this one, I will move this thread to the confirmed bug section...

HI sanji,

thanks for the answer. Are there activities fixing these bugs?

be aware that when you change sig settings, it only affects changes made after. Existing sigs will be unaffected.

I know.

I testet this on my backup system. But also after resetting the sigs it had not the expected effect.

After checking on my test board, the setting seems to work fine.

I have selected a maximum of 1 image, and this is what I get :
Your signature is not valid.

You have used 3 images whereas the maximum authorized is 1.

Did you check the box : "allow signature if size of picture can not be checked" ? This could be a reason of the problem: your server prevents checking the pictures, and they are therefore accepted.

Alternatively, you changed a setting/parameter/file which causes this problem...

But this seems not to be a bug in a fresh install...

Hi it seems you are right.
I made a complete fresh install and it worked on my local system. But on my updated (140 -> 141) it does not work.
