People With Very Large Monitors Are Complaining About IM141

People with monitors 17" + are complaining to me that the central blocks on the portal page are stretching out across the whole screen leaving them to have to read the news block right across most of their screens (it's a long journey for them). This stretching is true of most of the themes (fisubice, dark...)

Is there a way to to set a stretch maximum to the blocks / templates / IM141 ?

Ive got a 24" widescreen and I dont know what your refurring to. The only block that stretched is the center block

those are the blocks i mean. the news block etc go the length and breadth of the screen, which makes reading a bit hard as their eyes hav to travel across the whole screen and then travel all the way back again to get to the next line.

24" ?? They make them that big?

You'll all be relieved to know the Whopper Sized Monitor Users are pleased with the 900 width.

Is there a way to pull in the forum as well cos that still spreads across the whole screen.

everything between the header and footer will be constrained to 900px. If your forum is not, then you have left part of an incomplete table in your index_body or index_box.tpl
