Hey,

I created a usergroup called VIP and added some members to it.
Then I created a rank called VIP and set these users to this rank but since then they can see and post in the moderator section.
How can I prevent them from seeing the Modsection and postng in it <img>

btw are there any other templates for the advanced colour groups manahement mod?

Admin > group admin > permissions
pick --> VIP Group then click --> look up group
find the mod forum and turn off the permissions.

I have a slightly related question - is it true that you can lock a forum so that only members of a certain usergroup can post in it?

if so how do you do that cos I can't find it in group admin or forum admin.

Forum Admin
Go to forum you wish to limit access to
Edit forum
Set items to Private (or use preset Private or Private (Hidden))

Group Admin
Permissions
Choose group you wish to grant access.
In the center column, if you have it on simple mode, you can set it to allow access to that forum for that group.
If it doesn't have an option there, it isn't a private forum.
