Is there a fix for this when you go the memberlist and select User fields list.

If you check to joined it also adds Yahoo Messenger.

It does it on this site also.

i fixed that by going through my pcp...

can't remember off hand but I will try and remember how.

Wow... Mine doesn't do that on my site. I don't remember 'fixing' anything related to that. I'll investigate also...

i think i fixed that simply by removing the messengers from the list as they're mostly hidden on my site anyway.

PCP > PCP Wizard > Add/Remove Page Fields > (pull-down list) Profile - Buddy list

My site has the messengers selectable but they don't get added with other selections...

mine did - but i think chmodding the files correctly helped with that.

I am not good at this what is, chmodding?
Or where can I delete the yahoo meesages

CHMOD are the file permissions - which ftp tool are you using or do you have access to webftp through your webhost?

It's better to just remove the messengers from the list than to delete them (as u still need them on the profile).

You can remove them by going to:


Admin > PCP > PCP Wizard > Add/Remove Page Fields > (pull-down list) Profile - Buddy list

u'll find them in the list as user_yim, etc., just select them and press the arrow to move them to the column on the left and then click submit to save it.

it is not you fldodger. It is Spaniel. He has hundereds of posts both here and integrgamod.nl. He speaks often of his busy site and members, but when asked for his url, he refuses for many different reasons. The most common reason for this is copyright removal.
