I am getting something strange, when shoutbox refreshes a download box pops up
or sometimes when i click on forum or ACP, or something else a download box pops up wonting me to down load what i clicked on?? is any one having that problem, have i got some setting set wrong? dont think any any one in forum getting this just me sence im the founder

set this site up about 1 year ago for family but no one was useing it so changed it to a game forum about 2 weeks ago, did not notice this problem till i started useing it as a game forum

I cant see the shoutbox because im not logged in, but i checked a ton of links on your site and cant recreate your prob. Is this the same url/host/webspace youve had for a long time? Any nameserver or server setup changes lately?

Ive had this host for over 4 or 5 years now
it was set up about 1 year ago with the name of the forum was http://www.worldofarkania.net/Family/portal.php i renamed the folder from Family to ReakNCrew changed the link in apc/general admin/config to link to the new folder but sometimes when i click on something in the forum to open another page instead of opening the page it gives me a download box asking me how i wont to save or open the page im going to, i close the download box and click again and the page will open, being the founder {i think im the only one getting this} is any one else running into this, i have another site set up and it does not do it to me, so im thinking something in the ACP is set or not set causing this
ill keep looking to find the answer, thought i would post here to see if any one else had this problem, and i could fix it easaly

The only time that has happened to me was on my old host. When a page was taking too long to load, it popped up a download dialogue box asking if I wanted to download portal.php... It has not happened on my new host.

My mother actually had the same exact problem on my old 1.4.0 website when she would stop in to play games. It did it to her for a week or two with no sign of a fix in sight. Then one day it just stopped and never did it ever again. I had it reported by a few other users as an isolated incidence only. Was never able to figure it out.

Now every once in a while, I will notice in my lower left corner it says im dloading something from my site, but no box ever popped up on me. And the page allways opens.

this is most often a nameserver setup issue. the correct url for this site is
http://www.integramod.com however because of the setup, if you login using
http://integramod.com you will get the same problem your having on many links

Or, the PHP module wasn't/isn't loaded in your Apache (or other) webserver.

That way, when you click a link to start a new .script, the PHP Preprocessor is not handeling the .script. What can happen then is, the .script will be shown as text in the browser, or the browser will show up a download window.

Never mind, that is not the issue. Otherwise the index.php was also not shown
