De.scription and Message

Greetings.

The gaming website that I host has been using some version of the Integramod groups products for several years quite successfully.

My problem is I can't figure out what version of things I'm running. I wasn't the original administrator and there have been several hand-offs.

I know IM Portal is installed, I just can't figure out which version. Portal.php is signed by Master David and dated 2004.

I'm running a core of phpBB 2.0.15.

As a hacker (who claimed to have hacked my user pwd data) rudely pointed out to me, its long past time to upgrade. I can't find any modified code, so he must be doing an inline .scripting hack.

I've been researching what to do and I'm quite stuck. I really want to get the site upgraded to IntegraMod 1.4.1, and the latest version of PHPBB which is compatible. I just can't figure out what steps to take to do it.

Does anyone have any pointers (literally) to spots on this site, its help forums, kb and instructions that will help me figure out what to do.

The database and the files are backed up (routinely), I just need to know the proper steps.

read the readme file in the 132 to 141 update package thoroughly

you will need both of these files
http://www.integramod.com/forum/dload.p ... ile_id=107
http://www.integramod.com/forum/dload.p ... ile_id=109

be sure to backup your current forum.
set your default template to fisubice
from the new IM141 files, before you upload them, delete these files so you dont overwrite your current ones
config.php - so you dont overwrite your current one. It is the file that specifies the correct database and password
includes/def_tree.php - this holds the cached structure of your forums
includes/def_qbar.php - this holds your navigation block and nav bar information

once these files are deleted from the install package, upload the files, overwriting your current ones

Thanks for the really quick response.

I've realized that I haven't necessarily been clear, for which I apologize.

I "think" I've got IM 1.3.2. installed. What I'm sure I've got is:

c. 2004 version of IM Portal
CalendarLite v. 1.4.5
Coppermine Photo Gallery v. 1.4.4

So, I don't know that IM 1.3.2 is installed and I inadvertently pressed that button in the original post.

Given that error on my part, three questions are raised:

(1) is the 1.3.2. to 1.4.1 instruction set still the correct one to base everything on?
(2) what do I need to do to transfer the Coppermine data to the default IM 1.4.1 Gallery Structure (Photo Album 2.0.53)?
(3) Is it possible to disable the default album (PhotoAlbum 2.0.53) and instead still use Coppermine (albeit upgraded)? Is this wise?
(4) While exporting the CalendarLite data to the default IM141 calendar system would be nice (I'd like to retain history) is there a good set of instructions around on what would need to be done (so I don't have to spend a ton of time figuring out how to remap / export the data to a new table structure). If not fine, the history loss isn't critical.

i think youve got IM Portal and phpbb, not IM132
you need this file http://www.integramod.com/forum/dload.p ... ile_id=108
There is no way that I know of to import your album to smartor/FAP and since neither calendar is supported by the original authors anymore, I cannot find an import function for that either. Calendar events for our calendar are added differently. I could be wrong, but I dont think your events will transfer. I am not sure of this though, because I know that the IMPortal calendar block will display calendar info for your calendar.

To do this upgrade, you must follow the install text exactly to prevent errors

Thanks again for the quick response. I was thinking that was where I was too.

I did some quick searching concerning Coppermine here and haven't found any good data on migrating from Coppermine to the gallery system you integrated into IM141. I'm not "set" on Coppermine. Heck, I'll write an export .script if I have to do so. I just hate doing work someone has already done <img>

Any thoughts on an existing migration tool?

One last question:

Is there anywhere I can find details on the tables needed by the Gallery system you've installed in Integramod 141. I note that its a combination of three or four different mods and can't find websites on any of them per se. I'm still working my way through the files in the downloads.

I'm asking because I intend to see if I can quickly implement a PHP .script and/or SQL batch process to do the conversion from Coppermine to your system (and back and forth).
