De.scription and Message

My IM based forum has been up for about 24 hours now and it is already showing that it has blocked over 6,000 attacks against the system....is this possibly correct? I mean, I know that there are alot of .script kiddies and the like out there, but that sure seems like alot! How reliable or accurate is this information?

Normally very, but that seems way to high.

Yeah thats suspiciously high, Im going on 5 months and have only had 1278 Attacks blocked and 10 exploits.

And most of those attacks blocked were that damn Cracker Tracker and me trying to post.
It seems I can only use so many words in de.scription of new forums or categories.

They usually come from triggering the CrackerTracker error.
Everytime you get 1 it increases the total.

Have you been doing all your debugging?

If you don't, even googlebots, and others will trigger the CT errors and run up the numbers.

Still way to high for bots and/or debug errors, check his time on line and numbers again. He does have a problem, but I have no idea what could cause that kind of numbers.
