looks like you should rename your current includes file and upload a new copy. Be sure to set the chmods correctly, then go to your acp and resync. You may also be able to save your includes/def_* files so you dont have to redo your qbar links. If def_themes is ok, it will save you some config trouble by using your original

i put back an old copy of auth.php and the site is back--have not tested functionality.

What should the chmod be for includes directory and for includes/auth.php??

includes folder should be 755 and includes/auth.php should be 644
