sorry to keep pestering you but out of the years i have been useing intragamod i still havent been able to get the poll block on the portal page to show, have read everything set what needed to be set and still dont understand why i cant get it to work on my site

i go into acp/im portal/Portal Configuration and under "Poll Forum ID(s)" if i set it to a "coma" and clear cash i get this error "Couldn't obtain poll information."
the topic number is 28 if i set the "Poll Forum ID(s)" 28 i dont get any error but the block is not showing any thing, is there something im missing, or just dont understand?

You have to pick one area of your forum to run polls. I created a poll section.
If you select that section, you will have a url similiar to mine:

http://bindepot.ca/forum/viewforum.php?f=246

The forum id for my poll section is 246.

You now put that number in the ACP>IM Portal>Configuration Poll ID and save it.

Now if you post a poll in that section of the forum, it will show in the poll block. If it is in the header or footer, it will be on any page. Otherwise it will only appear on the portal page.

Note: Only your last poll post appears in the block.
