Is there any way to search for a user, by searching for their email address to find their account and user name?

I have someone who has attempted to register 5 times and they say the email is already used.

I think they registered on the first attempt, so I want to track down that account.

This might be a crackpot idea, but ask them for their ip and then in user admin, try to find them that way
