Searched the forums here, and deleted cookies from both firefox browser and the site itself.

Due to young kids spamming my XAT chatbox, we decided to mark the site membership only.
On the portal is an image link which redirects guests/visitors to register where the chatbox is normally viewed by our registered members.
My problem is, even though the RECENT TOPICS block is set to be viewed by ALL, only the registered logged on members can see the recent scrolling topics, while new visitors/guests see months old topics and nothing up to the minute.

Since our forum is very active and populated by people who frequently post, new guests arent aware of the newer topics.
I have the settings for CACHE off, because it would only show the last post prior to the settings.
How can I remedy this issue which actually would serve as an aide to encourage new guests to register to gain access to the recent thread after registering ?
Also the forums are closed to guests pending registration.

Could this be a cookie or cache issue ...or maybe a bug ?

Ok what the issue was if you have certain forum threads closed to guests it doesnt display in the recent topics block unless they are reg. members and logged in.
Simple fix
