I was helping my girlfriend work on her wesbite and I couldnt help but notice the forums were payingout EXTREMLY high points. I went back in and set it up exactly like my website numbers wise in the cash settings and it still gives over 400 points for typing in a simple wor like AT

Knowing that this is not right, I went and set every single number to 0 meaning no points are given at all ever for any reason and low and behold, If I go back and type in the word AT I will still be given a base amount of 450 points.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh and one more thing, her website refreshes like every 5 or 10 seconds and it goes click click click click and on and on. How can we make that stop? I cheked in the meta tags area and no refresh has even been set. And its just not in the forum, its on the home page, forum, everywhere you go....Click click click click click see how annoying that is reading it? could you imagine being on the website having to hear it every 5 seconds? <img>

do you have the shoutbox block enabled? this is the most common cause for portal page refreshing, though ive never looked into a fix.
since it is not an ajax shoutbox, im not sure you can stop it without completely disabling the refresh function, but if you do that, you wont see new shouts till you refresh the page

Nope there is definately no shoutbox enabled. And it does it on every single page so far that I have noticed.

Posted at phpBB as well about the cash mod issue and havent heard anything back yet on it. Im still looking if anyone has any ideas. <img>

you might want to check your overall_header for anything abnormal. Notice the two dots in the pic. Ive not personally seen this before, but ive heard of a type of site hack that will do this

Lovely...... I will have to have a look into that. I was wondering what was up with those 2 dots. I thought I broke something when I modified her theme for her the way she wanted it.

And the refresh issue site wide has stopped since I removed shoutbox and calendar in the index.

So far I havent found anything in the header file. BUT when I replaced it with an original, those 2 dots went away.

And still no such luck on he cashmod problem. That one is a major error I need to figure out.

Bro, in the Admin General Config go to Cash Mod
Your problem is how you have the cash mod posts weighted.

Select Cash Admin/Cash Settings/ and you can recalibrate from there. As far as the refresh rate I cant remember exactly where that is, but I'll find it in the next hour

Found it. It was i the Cash Groups settings. I did not even know that was there. <img> It is now fixed.......well, Will be im tired as hell. took a nerve pill a bit ago and am about to crash...HARD lol So Ill fix it inthe morn.
