sub forums

i have been trying to create something that looks like this for my forum

where there is a main header and then catagories underneath it, but everytime i try it keeps adding as a sub forum link (which im trying to get rid of ) or doesnt show up on the board at all.
i tried creating a catagory but it didnt show on my forums page
what am i doing wrong ?

i found one topic that got close to what i was after but it didnt work
any help appreciated

we have managed to work out how to create catagories and forums below the catagories but now my forum is showing double headers <img>

can someone please check out my link and let me know how i can correct this, im a bit worried about just going ahead and deleating the heading from the forum admin management incase i loose any of my sub forums

Double headers? Can you please MSN me and we can work it out. I looked at it and it looked normal. have you already worked this out?
