MODERATOR PROBLEMS

Hya folks happy new year

On our site we have been sorting some new moderators out, they have been setup with their respective positions, custom title set and moderator status activated on the forums they will be moderating.

For some reason though they are unable to view the moderator only forums within the staff forums I setup so not visible to general members only moderators and admin.
I know last year I actually deleted the original moderator custom title as we were not using moderators at that time, could this be a factor, even though I have setup a new moderator custom title?

I have setup both the moderator rank and the moderator group and added the new moderators.
They come up highlighted with their user names highlighted alongside the forums they are set to moderate.
Everything seems to be working apart from the fact they cant view forums set to moderator hidden within the forum permissions.

Hya HelterSkelter, I got sorted I just set the mod forums to private and granted permissions for the moderator group, am sure it should work when set to mod though.
Thanks for your help

your last method does work for sure. Another way to do it, would have been to go and give each user in that group moderator status of each of the mod forums. But your way is quicker and easier. My example is just another way of doing it. I found both ways are effective.
