Upgrade from PHPBB3 install

Appologies if this is a duplicate post, I have tried to search for this but I assume I'm not hitting the correct keywords..

I have a site with PHPBB 3.0.2 installed with a couple of thousand posts.

I'm looking to upgrade to IntegraMOD or Stargate Portal (which ever is the current one) but trying to find out how to upgrade from PHPBB to either of these...

So far the instructions I've read all mention fresh install but im hoping there is a way to upgrade without losing any of the current users/topics/posts etc...

Any advice/help/suggestions would be appreciated... again appologies if there is already a topic on this..

there is not IntegraMOD version available currently for phpBB3. You will need to go directly to phpbbireland.com to get Stargate Portal. IntegraMOD3 is build on Stargate Portal, but it will not be available for upgrade purposes for quite awhile.
