stupid question (SOLVED)picture attachments

I use 1.4.1

when i add a picture attachment to a topic the picture gets posted in full size, what, or how, do i set it up to get the picture to be a thumb nail size of say 140x140, in the topic and if they wont to open it they click on it?

guess no one can explain to me how to make photo attachments to be a thumbnail instead of full size. its probably right in front of me and cant see it?

I guess i did not explain properly.
it hasnt got any thing to do with the bbbcode, i dont think? its not a picture from my gallery.

what im talking about is, if i add a attachment picture, from my computer, in a topic, as an attachment, it comes out the size the picture is, if its a wallpaper at 1024x726, that is what size the picture will be in the topic. i have seen others with the attachments, the picture is a small thumb and you click on it to see it big?

ok i think this cant be because if i add a picture from my computer it cant be a thumb because there is no other picture to make it a thumb so never mind
