I am new to this forum and if this is in the wrong spot please mods delete or move it.

We had a member try to register with a yahoo address but the first part had a . in it when we changed his address we could register him. Was that the crackertracker or the address?

that was phpBB. It recognized that a proper email address does not start with a . so it did not accept it
