Issue with footer blocks with explorer

Normally I use firefox and all looks good, but I happened to use explorer today and noticed that the footer blocks appear to be different widths as shown in this screenshot.

your image is wider than the block.

I know that. There are several footer blocks of different widths and they all look staggered.
With firefox, the side blocks self adjust/widen by themselves so that all blocks are equal.
Explorer doesn't do that.

FF and IE handle image display differently. All your blocks are the width you set in the acp except those that have images that are too large.
You can set your footer blocks to the width of your largest block if you want them all to be the same without completely re-writing the block
