I have had my email limit increased to 500 with my server and that was good until I reached 500+ members. No I have a problem if I send a newsletter, 500 members will receive it and the rest will time out. Anyone who registers during the hour I send the emails will not get confirmation and are unable to complete registeration.


Can some one help me set up my control panel to only send so many per hour until its done? Cron Job??

Or send me in a new direction. I am sure integramod has more than 500 members so there should be a solution to this problem. I do not want to migrate to vbulletin and changing servers is not an option since 500 seems to be the max per hour for most servers.

Install mega mail

If your host only allows 500 per hour, set it to 450 to allow for other emails for your site.
Set time to 3600s or 3610s to be safe = 1hr.

Ok I tested it, and I think there is a problem.

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

This is the message I got a few minutes after I clicked the send button.

Here is what it shows in the log.

1 All Users April Newsletter 400 400 3620 s. Allen Proceed now

Processed 400, mails per batch 400, pause 3640 s, Admin Allen, Proceed Now.

Is this normal??

Did you add the database tables?

It says it sent all the emails the next day.

As for adding tables? I installed all the files in the download. I did not notice any instruction that discussed adding the tables.

When you go to the megamail page for the first time, it tells you that it will now install the needed tables.
You can't use until the tables are installed. It needs somewhere to store your message to send it in batches.
Has to store it because if you have a site over 2000 members like I do, it takes me 2 days to send all the messages so it needs to be stored when I shutdown my computer and continue later.

Then yes I have installed them since you cannot use the mod without doing so.

It says done in the status of my last email newsletter. I am sending another today.

Here is what it tells me this time.
Mail ID and Mail Session ID do not match.
