I currently have the lottery mod installed on my site, along with zaraths shop mod and cash mod, and it works just fine.

What i was wondering was...is it possible to change the code somehow, so when you win you get awarded a random item from a shop instead of cash/points?
And if so, how hard would it be?
I would be willing to pay for someone to do this for me!

actually, that was a built in feature of the shop at one point in time. It would award points as well as a random or pre-chosen item/s from the shop/s of your choice. I'm not sure if it was made available as a feature on the V3 version of the shop mod or if it was the V2 version only.
