Is there a way to show attachments in IM 1.41 news block?
I just noticed that they don't show up, and i need at least attached images to be available in news articles <img>

this may require a re-write of the announcment block. I posted here so I can find this post tonight after work. Ill look at the block then and see If this can be done

Remember though that the block in question is the news one, not the announcements!

Mike is working on it now. There were a few bugs with the standard news block and the way the code is written it is easy to show the last attachment, but if you have several news posts with attachments, it wont do to only display the last one so he is re-writing some of news.php

here is news block 2. it has a few fixes. It will show attachments and has a direct link to the news post.
you will have to overwrite your current includes/news.php

I just tried it and it works flawlessly
Since my site is about videogames i rely a lot upon images, and without thumbnails my homepage would be too big to browse.
I succeded in reducing images size in pixel, but without thumbnails some images are a bit too big in kB.
