Problems changing anything in the forum

Hi folks,

even after the update I cannot change anything in the forum. If I try to change the forum groups or add a new category it ignores my changes.

Any suggestions why?

all file permissions are set as they have to. But still i cannot change anything in the admin panel of the forum. When I change it and confirm it and refresh nothing changed.

go to your webhost control panel ( CPanel or Plesk ) and check your chmods. Often your ftp program will incorrectly report chmods.

The one and only area of the ACP that can behave like your reporting is in ACP/.: Security :.
That problem is caused by either installing your forum without chmodding includes/phpbb_security.php, or overwritting it with a new one after installation. All other problems are generally chmod problems because much of integramod is cached to files and if the chmods are not correct then your forum cannot write the db info to the files
