PCP LIST_DROP with img?

is it possible to have a dop down list also show the image, either in the drop-down or to the side of it?

how about another idea,
something similar to when you use PCP to a page display, to have a display field on the form, so a user can see what was currently selected in the drop-down?

Our problem is that we have several in-game icons a user can choose from in their profile. But we can either show an image(bullet) or the text (bullet or list-drop) but not both. Some of the icons are reserved, and in order to tell, we need the text.

maybe a way to 'template' it our list the rules do? to show both text and image?

unfortunately all our PCP guys have been inactive for awhile and I have not had much luck in the past modifying it beyond the few tutorial posts ive been able to find.
