Sent Mail Problem

One of my integra Mod websites is automatically deleting the sent mail after so many days. I have other integra Mod site that do not do this so I am at a loss and cannot find a setting to correct this issue.

Hi Allen. Long time no chit chat.

It is deleting emails, or private messages? And have you looked in your database to see if they are still in there or if they got deleted out of your database?

Its the private messages and they vanish from everyones account.

That is kind of odd. Have you verified or not if they are being deleted out of your database via phpMyAdmin?

I think its working now at least there are messages in there for the past 5 days. I will see how long this lasts. Apparently It had been a while since I went through database maintenance on that site.

It is a wise idea if you can to setup a cron job to do that for you. (if able) Or do it atleast once a week or so. I found that by repairing and optimizing my DB once a week, things tend to run much smoother.

Thanks, turns out another admin was deleting the send mail from the control panel. I am not sure what his motivation is for doing so but I have asked him to stop.

Allen, have you considered Jr Admin then in that situation? Then you can choose what each admin can and can not do in your ACP. That would eliminate that from ever happening again.
