As the title says. If i download IM140 now, does it have all the secruity updates and php2.21 updates al well, or is that a manual job again?

you need to download the phpbb to im update that is fully up to date then just install as a new board not an update

Sorry, i will make it clearer. I already have im140 installed but i had a few problems. Now i want to do a freesh installa and us my db from the current forum.

So:
1. i download im140 from here.

do i then have to:
->run secruity updates
-->im to php2.19
---> im to php2.20
-----> im to php2.21
all these step i had to do when i first installed IM 140 last augest.

Or is the version of IM 140 here, does it already have the above changes made.

using your existing db is not a fresh install. It sounds like you just want to replace your files.
if so, dl and save from your existing forum
config.php
includes/def_*.php
includes/phpbb_security.php

rename your existing forum folder ie.. if your im install is at root/forum/ rename it to root/forum1/

upload the files from the [url=http]phpbb_to_IM140[/url] to root/forum or where ever they were previously located.

upload yout saved copies of
config.php
includes/def_*.php
includes/phpbb_security.php
to thier proper directories and set all your chmods correctly

if your db had previously been updated to 2.0.21 then you will now be current

*do not upload, or run the db updates in the phpbb_to_IM140 package as they are already done if your db is 2.0.21

After getting it up and running; dont forget to do the security patchesà¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ ¦ <img>

the phpbb security mod update is included in the phpbb_to_IM140 package, but not Mikes security patches

what about all the gallery files, banners, links etc. Where about are they located so i can copy them as well.

the album images are located in forum root/album_mod/upload

you can just overwrite the new upload folder with your existing one. You can do the same with your existing forum root/images folder and forum root/pafiledb/uploads folder. If you have any thumbnail images for your dl files then also do the same with forum root/pafiledb/images

One more point. I was seraching and could not seem to find it, could some body make a sticky of the current stable versions of im and and previous versions and the difference in them all.

Im140 is still the latest release right?
