Activity Mod Blocks 1.4.1 Beta

Ok first off, I must say these are NOT my work. I edited them to work in IM 1.4.1 and all the original owners and copyrights have been left intact. These blocks are the original work of Amod.

I know all of these do INFACT work for Activity mod 1.1.0 version up to 1.4.1 phpbb .21 Im not sure about Napoleans Arcade mod as I never used it before.

I have made the follwing work. And if the original authors of these ever show up here and wish to lay claim and take back over, please do.

Trophy King/queen ( Players name is linked to their profile )
Least Popular games ( top 10 list )
Most Popular games ( top 10 list )
Active Players Block ( top 10 list plus trophy counts with link to players profile )
New 10 games ( 10 Newest Games added )
Best Players ( top 10 list with link to players profile )
Last High Score ( Game Icon & Name, Player name, points for the game, time and date set )
Activity Mod Plus Summary ( Break Down Of Arcade Stats Center Block )

AND The Lottery Statistics Block ( total break down of Lottery )
**NOTE** This block hasnt been tested on 1.4.1

i would like them MWE <img> i really like the lottery block, and think i would like the active players block and the random game over the king/queen block.

Ok Im working on putting them in a zip file now. I cant attach here so I will add it on my downloads at the test site.

As for the lottery Stats Block, I have not tested it on a 1.4.1 board. Do you have lottey hack installed on your 1.4.1 board? Ill go ahead and add that in the files as well, BUT please understand it will not have been tested in the beta version of 1.4.1

Please understand that I dont have vast coding info so therefore support should be asked here mainly. Maybe someone else can help with different ones in the future. This is the best I could do. I hope you enjoy them.

Thats cool. Im glad ya liked it. I must add to though that the Lottery block was not tested in 1.4.1 I never tried to install lottery yet because there was a fix for an erro for it and I dont remember the fix.

Let me know if you caome up with naything on the lottery end so I can change my generic Read Me files to reflect the correct info. I would appreciate it.

Thx Cleo for kicking me in the arse and getting me started. Activity Mod 1.1.0 Blocks have been updated to scroll now as well, and stop scrolling on mouse over, as rather than show top 10 games like this:

They now apprear with the game image to the left and game name to the right no more numbers. Looks MUCH better. No more mile long top 10 blocks. They are sized as should be to NOT take up so much of your web pages.

As stated in my first post these are NOT my codes and all original copyrights have been left intact as should be. I assume NO credit for these blocks at all and give 100% Kudos to the original authors for their work. All I did was edit them to work correctly in the new 1.4.1 version of Integramod. I even snuck in some of Foundit's code to make them scroll. Kudos to Mike as well. A few blocks I left alone NOT to scroll as I looked at it and it was kind of tacky IMO. I can at request make them scroll for you as well.

Please refer to my first post and follow the link to my test board to see the NEW blocks in action.

Scrolling blocks are as follows:

• 10 New games
• Top 10 Popular games
• 10 Least Popular Games

I will be making available for download within the next 30 minutes a download for the blocks that scroll as well as leave my current download for people who choose their blocks NOT to scroll

Ok just an Update It appears as though there is an image error in the updated blocks on a machine running Linux.

If anyone else on linux with activity mod could install these updated blocks as well and let me know if you get errors. They work perfectly fine on my machine which is running free bsd

php V 4.3.10 MySQL V 4.0.17

The original code that did NOT work for me is

I changed it to This]$game_img = str_replace("<img>","<img height='30' width='30' ", $game_img);[/code]

And it works fine.

Now on the Linux server with the original code OR the updated code we get the following error]UPDATE[/color]**

I went back onto my server and removed that > on line 54 and can not now get my machine to give me and error at all. Now Im real lost. I deleted cache and all and I can not reproduce this error no matter what now. <img> Decompiled and recompiled cache in Extreme styles even and still nothing.

actually line 54 of the code is this

when i remove this line, the block works fine, but with no image, sorry if i confused you as to what line 54 was Ray.

EDIT: ok, i went back and played with this some, and it seems if you have the Newest Game Block inactive, the most popular and the least popular blocks give you the error then. But as long as the Newest Game Block is active, you get the block deisplaying correctly.

is there anyway this can be fixed? so that you do not have to have that block active if you do not want it active?

Well we must be using different editors.. lol Im sry Cleo I should have asked. BUT for now my site got hacked AGAIN!!!!!!! and Im trying to fix it. Im scrapping this thignalltogether I think and going back to the old fashioned way of running a site. Im tired of adding fixes and all this and that foir it to keep happening over and over again. BUT i will look into that line for you and see whats up. <img>

No Cleo it was my error, lol I edited the wrong line to begin with. I edited line 58 not 54. Oops, BUT atleast that worked for me. Now on to your error.

I can not for the life of me figure this one out. Maybe lets start a new post for someone who is more of a php guru to help us out. and In doing so I may learn a thing or two as well. I can not recreate this error what so ever to save my life. I cant understand why they work on my board and not yours. The only fact I do know is that we are using 2 different versions Of Integramod to test on. Your board is current. Mine is not.

That being said , it shouldnt make a differance at all. Im still looking at it and working with it but until I can recreate that error Im kind of dead in the water.

Make sure to do the steps slowly so not to miss something. Others have accidently skipped a step and had to retrace through it all.

Thanks but I already have Amod installed and working reasonably well after a few ctracker tweaks, just need blocks for the portal and can't seem to see them anywhere.
