Guys, I just downloaded and installed the following mod for automatically creating a site map and a better rss feed to your IM.

Install was a breeze, you just have to read the instructions carefully.

Demos:

My new RSS 2.0: http://www.paintballer.ie/rss.php

Google Site Map: http://www.paintballer.ie/sitemap.php
Yahoo Url List: http://www.paintballer.ie/urllist.php

So far no problems. Give it a shot

cheers spaniel. I love IM cause it is so easy to make a big site out of it. BBcode is much easier to use for me that HTML <img>

I have looked at the phoogle map but I am trying to see how to use it with PCP, there seems to be changes. I hope to install it soon when i figure it out... but that is a different topic.

As for the site map, it is still working great. I just need to figure out how to make it update a bit faster. It currently updates every 30mins or so.

It's only because of this thread you started that i knew anything about sitemapping - i've installed the mod but all i know is there are no error messages so it must be working :x

I just signed up to feed burner there and provided my /rss.php site map and it looks great.

Check it out: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Paintballerdotie

What's the difference between that and

http://www.paintballer.ie/rss.php ?

What is feedburner? <img>

the main difference i think is that feed burner makes it easier to use your feed. It generates widgets so you can embed your feed anywhere. Feedburner is owned by google so you can have ad's in your feed also.

I am testing it out, check the very bottom of http://www.paintballer.ie portal page.

Hmm my rss.php isn't working. Even tho I ran the db file, i get the debug error:

[code]phpBB ]

What's gone wrong there?
