is the olympus 140 in the download section up to date for IM140? i have installed it on xampp, but when i switch themes, and then click to go to the forums, it logs me out and puts me back on my default theme.

i checked in the acp, and i do not have it set to overwrite user preferences, so it should allow me to choose a style.

any ideas?

sounds like a cookie issue. Either that or the notorious first release svn.636 bug is back

does it say your banned? youve used to many login attempts?
for too many login attempts, you can do the usuall; have it send you a new password. If that wont work, you can edit your username in mysql/your db/phpbb_users/your user account. reset your login attempts to 0

is this for clearing your cookies on a host server?

anyway, i just put a backup i had of my files and db in the XAMPP and i can get in now, but i am still weary of installing a new theme on XAMPP now, i don't like it when things don't work the way they should, so i will work on new themes for my forum later

np
just be sure that after unzipping it, you place it in your forum root (still in the cookieMOD folder) then exicute it with your browser. After you set your cookies, delete the whole folder for security purposes

ok, 1.4.1 and svn, even a live forum aside, i am trying to get this theme to work on xampp with IM 1.4.0.

i still have the same issue. when i switch themes, it signs me out, and switches me back to my default theme.

my forum is heavily modded, and i know i will have to do alot of edits for any theme and my mods, which is why i am tackling 1 theme at a time, i just do not understand why it is signing me out.

would it be best to wait for IM 1.4.1 and themes to be ported for 1.4.1? seems like i have waited forever for olympus to be ready for 1.4.0 and now i cannot even get it to work.

Foundit, i know your themes are not 2.0.20 compatible yet, but there is only 1 file edit to be done for them right?

(edit:my apologies to Fountit and Fubie for mixing your names up )

I will install and see where it is at in relation to 1.4.1.

I think Olympus was only beta on 1.4.1 we actually used it in IntegraLite!
Go to demo site (in my sig) and select Olympus theme in change styles block and see if it looks the same as the one you haveà¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ ¦ cough! I have several variations in various stages of developmentà¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ ¦

the one that Helter posted a link to is how the one i downloaded looks, it has all the same color on what few blocks i have on the portal page, same copywrite and same forumimages banner at the top, do you still want a screenshot Mike?

as i stated before, i saw the one you have on phpbbirland, and loved the differnt colors on the portal blocks, (although i loved this theme anyway) then when i saw it in the download section, i thought it was complete.

but will get you that screen shot if you want.

no one ever answered me about whether or not i should apply the mod changes to these templates before i install them and try to get them to working. because out of curiosity, i tried to install one of Found it's themes that i had installed once before, and it does the same thing, signs me out and switches me back to my default theme.

any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. my themes is one of the things i have not put back into place since i redid my forum, and was wanting to get them back up.
