Got it installed and working good. NOW for the Million $ question. I still have no mods installed on my boards BUT Teelks Color Mod. Can I just take the files and upload them to powermetal and be done with it or do I need to upload the files as well as get into the read me and manually update template files as well?

I was guessing i could use premodded since nothing on my board is modded yet, but didnt want to take the chance after Teelk worked so hard to help me out.

Howdy all

Ive just installed 141 and also installed the powermetal theme from the 141 download section, it doesnt seem to be complete, the center and right hand blocks arnt in the powermetal theme ?

Or have I done something wrong ?

Just a quick question helter, ive just installed 141 and also the 141 powermetal, I thought it was just me but also see it on your link about, the centre and right hand boxes dont have the same border around the boxes, is this the way it is meant to be ?

I know its not Poweremetal, BUT just a quick note Helter, BBLite, I dloaded it and had the same prob as theis chap. I had no header blocks at all. Dloaded it and installed 3 times and nothing. Upon uninstalling it, it wouldnt allow me to go back to any other theme at all.

I since have restored all of my ifles back to Integra2 and Powermetal and have no issues at all.

I just thought powermetal was suppose to look like that, ole dopey me. On the forums, the categories won't separate in there own box, they run all together. It does separate with title bars, but not in it's own box. I did set it for separate boxes in acp, but no go. Is this normal for powermetal?

it depends how you set up your forums and catagories. For forums, if you attach them to *index they will be separated, if you attach them to a catagory, all the forums attached to that catagory will be connected

Hey Helter, Quick Powermetal question for ya chief. I did the old trick on Integra2 to remove the shout box and calendar .

removed everything between these 2 lines of code and it works a treat.

Now this wont work on Powermetal. it bunches the forums up on the right and moves who is online box to the left and instead of slim and long Its slim and kinda tall now. Im uploading my back up and it will suffice for now. What would I have to do to get it to look right again?

And In all fairness I played the game with IM Portal config to remove my headers from the index so My forums would be full screen. works in Integra2 AND Powermetal, but as I say removing the shout box and calendar, well not so good.

Any Ideas?

Ok, I have 1 other small issue, I dont think its to do with the template, once I remove or turn off the "Welcome to IntegraMOD" block the blocks in the center of the portal page have a space between them and the left hand blocks ?

Yeah thats strange, must be differant versions 4 sure, the footer design is a fair bit differant to.

Helter, I still don't think this is right. I attach the catagories to the index in PowerMetal, it does not create a new box, it attaches to the index box. In r5 using the default style, each catagory is in it's own box. [url=http]Please look[/url]

Pool guy, i once had this issue myself. Im not sure if this is your prob or not, BUT when create your categories, Your correct. Attach them to the index. BUT each individual forum muct be attached to the specific category and NOT the index.

Example of my settings..

:ra: Step 2

Choose the kind of forum you want Forum

Forum name Your choice

De.scription Obvious

Attached to Category name. ( Not your Index)

Position this forum after Category name. ( Not your Index)

each forum you create make sure you attach it to that category
Etc Etc.............................................................

New category

Start with the instructions all over agian....

Do not forget to resync your foums either. <img>

It will make your forums look like [url=http]THESE[/url]

Hope this helps you out some. THose are my settings that have made it how I think you are wanting it. Have a nice night. Ray

Thank you, will follow it step by step, I thought it was set exactly like i did in r5 which worked fine, but will try again. Right now I have all cats attached to the index, and the forums under each cat is attach to that cat. The only thing attached to the index is the cats. No real big deal, but i just like the separate blocks. Thanks for you help.

I think he is refuring to the main background and border, which now spans almost the whole index. Ill see what I can do.

I was thinking that as well, BUT looking at his forums, they are NOT broken into different sections such as in your pic and on my boards. He has 1 big Block O'forums. I got thinking thats what he was refering to was he wanted a separate "Block " for each category.

Since this post is very old, I do not recall if it fixed it or not. If I can get a test install of 1.4.1 online, I may just be able to give it a look and see. No guarantees though.
