What was done before the problem appeared?
installed IM portal, it's alwayss been like that.


What was done to try to solve the problem?
Nothing. delete cached files.



De.scription and Message

It seems that the "who is online block" is not keeping up or is just off with the normal who is online of the forums. This is an annoying problem because when users go to my site they see that knowone is online in the portal block but when they click forums, on the bottom "who is online" there is a more accurate reading.


EDIT: hah i just remembered that i modified the online info for the forum so that it says who is online for the past 15 minutes instead of the default 5 minutes. How do i change this for the block? Or is that not the problem?

Check your ACP / IM Portal/ Blocks Management / *Whatever Portal Page*


Click Edit on the Who is Online block (or Online Users block), and make sure that Cache?]is set to [color=blue]No and click submit.


If you changed it, Delete Cache Files, and see if that took care of the problem.
