This is probably a silly question, but I wanted to be sure as I too have been victim to hacking..

I noticed the security update had a /templates/subice directory... So...do I have to copy the same files into every template or will it work regardless of what template I use?

Which update? Normally you would need to copy the files into all template directories...

The downloadable "phpbb_security_102_to_103_im140.zip" update is the one I'm talking about.
