Security issues
Posted: Fri Jul 04, 2008 2:27 pmAwhile back I set up IntegraMOD on one of my domains with Helter's much appreciated help...unfortunately the site was hacked and nothing was left but a couple folders...I could have restored from a back-up but I really didn't see the point if it was hacked that easily...
now someone might question the access point but as only that domain was affected and nothing else the access point had to be IntegraMOD
my question is ...how much more secure is IntegraMOD2? or should I wait for the phpbb 3x release of IntegraMOD3?
I really like IntegraMOD and the community here was a great help in getting it set up...but I don't want to go through everything again just to see it tore back down.
We run an active forum full-disclosure community that has a high volume of security professionals and so we attract both the genuine hackers and the skiddies...and so security issues are paramount.
I would like to set it up again on one of our new domains:
http://www.tazforum.com
which presently has phpbb 3x on it.
