Desperatly seeking...
Posted: Wed Aug 22, 2007 9:57 pmHi everyone, this is a bit embarrassing, but I'm in such a desperate jam I have no other available options.
My movie site is scheduled for our opening in 3 weeks and my Founder/Co Admin, (who loaded the templates) and Mods, and Blocks and stuff has disappeared.
To top that off, I have just begun to become slightly familiar with PhpBB but its all still Greek to me, and I am doing everything possible to keep our impending launch deadline.
Heres the trouble:
3 Days ago he loaded Power Metal Black (I love it by the way), as I was changing over ads from Adbrite in one of my center blocks dedicated solely for pay per click ads. When suddenly I recieved an error saying I didnt have permission to acess Admin/Admin_phpbb.blocks on this server.
Which I have no idea how to correct, and obviously neither does he because now Im losing the only revunue that was being generated by the site to pay its hosting bill (Which my friend also happens to own) Go figure.
Anyway, he had said he was getting the same error as well..WTF ?
Bottom line is without those ads (in Html format) we belly up. And now I cant catch up to my friend , which leaves me in a bind.
What I'm looking for is someone that could possibly volunteer some time to help fix this critical issue, as well as remove or adjust Cracker Tracker so we constantly dont get that repetitive .script warning.
Also it would be nice if the Calender and Chatbox were removed from our forum page, since I have a different chatbox installed in the portal that actually generates guests on its own from another site.
In fact...Im actually looking for a resident Tech person for the site itself, and in exchange I would gladly offer them Platinum Lifetime membership as Jr. Admin, and all the free movies, and downloads they could handle.
