De.scription and Message

Hey All,

I have searched the whole forum for a solution and tried everyone so far and nothing seems to work or I may be missing something.

Here's the problem:

I posted a thread in a forum just to test it out. After I hit submit, it went to a blank page. I went back out to the forum and it said the topic was there. I clicked on the topic and I got a blank screen.

I have tried every solution I could find here. I tried going into the functions_category_hierachy page and commenting out the deine line and that didn't work. I renamed the def_tree file to see if this was the cause and no luck. I resynced my forums and post and no luck.

When I click on the link to the post, it goes to this: http://www.unclesamsbargains.com/forum/ ... .php?p=3#3

I have tried several times with no luck. Anyone have any ideas or am I just out of luck?

The website where this problem is occuring is http://www.unclesamsbargains.com/forum/index.php

Thanks in advance for any help,

Rob

I checked it and its a blank white page.
Have you double checked the chmod permissions? It's where i would start, Easy to make a mistake on them. Also check the default theme see if it still happens.

Code: Select all
viewtopic.php?p=4#4

Code: Select all
viewtopic.php?t=252

Anyone know if the "#4" is ok in his post link, I don't see that in mine?

Thanks CaNNoN. What would the CHMOD have to be? I fooled around with it a bit but nothing seems to work. I saw the names of your posts on the forum but I tried reading them and I got the lovely blank white page.

Any other ideas?

Just double check the CHMOD permissions to the install ones and you can eliminate it as a problem.

Also check the default theme see if it still happens.

make sure you try that to it can also eliminate the theme as a problem.

Well I tried it with the default theme and that doesn't work. I will try the CHMOD idea when I get home but I am almost positive I still have the original settings on the file.

just your links, right now were in "http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4140"
and yours end "viewtopic.php?p=4#4"

I'm not sure what up with the # ? and I don't have enough experience. but I would guess a data base issue of some kind.

Weird.....cause right now the topic we're in shows the following address for me: http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtop ... 8364#28364

I have no idea what's going on so your guess is as good as mine.

Hopefully, someone out there can help me out so I can get my forum up and running correctly. Thanks for all the help though CaNNoN and if you have anymore ideas I am more than willing to try them out.
