Hi Guys

Heres something that has been bugging me & its only now that i remember to ask about this on this forum.

When I first came to this forum as a guest & read thru some posts I decided to join as a member. While as a member & going back thru some posts that I have read before I noticed that when ur a member u can actually see certain downloads to certain posts

scroll down a bit & u will notice what I am on about, from the reply from HelterSkelter

Is this a addon to this version of integramod where if ur a guest u cannot see & click on download in posts. but u can only click on download if ur a member.

or is this implimented in 1.4.1 integramod, if so can someone be kind enough to kind how to set that up.

or can someone guide me if its an addon...

that is an attachment, you can set your forum to allow attachments but you have to becarful about big files useing up all your bandwith or space.
its not a add on for 141 this forum is set to only let you download if you are a regestered poster, if you are a guest you can see but cant touch hehe

you have to set it in acp/forum admin/management than click on edit for any forums that you wont to be only regestered user on

I have a dedicated server which has unlimited bandwidth with a fast download speed.

I suppose this feature only works if the files are on the same server as the forum, or can it work to if the file is on a seperate dedicated server.

I will look into this anyway with your kind advise. cheers..


Ps.

I have looked into this & understand how this all works in attatchemnts, unfortunately it wont work for my needs so I will have to wait & see if a hide mod will be available for integramod 141.
